Buff Sawn York stone paving is famously quarried in Yorkshire and is renowned for its high quality and durability. Sawn York stone is very versatile and can be made to your own personal requirements. Blocks of natural stone are selected from within the quarry walls and floor and then cut on a primary saw to produce large slabs known as scant. The scant is then cut on a secondary saw to the desired sizes. The stone is then hand finished to your required specifications.

Buff sawn York stone can be laid in random or linear patterns and is versatile enough to complement both traditional and modern building designs. Additionally as the stone is cut to a tolerance of approximately 50mm sawn York stone is perfect for both internal and external designs.
