The characteristic fine even grained texture and warm buff-grey tones provide our craftsmen with a versatile material that can be worked with precision to provide a hard wearing step that will look beautiful for years. The steps and risers we provide are supplied to your specification. York stone steps can be made from Reclaimed, Riven or Sawn York stone. Typically Sawn York stone is used for steps and risers because of its smooth versatile characteristics. We are able to finish your steps in a variety of finishes. Such embellishments enhance the overall quality of you design and add to the satisfaction and enjoyment you will derive from your design.
