Stoneuk Guard is a water miscible fluoropolymer dispersion designed for application to porous hard surfaces. Properly applied Stoneuk Guard imparts excellent water, oil and stain repellent properties to these substrates. The substrates natural characteristics are generally unaffected by the application of this product they are normally enhanced and protected. Stoneuk Guard creates a protective thin barrier below the surface of the stone. The molecules of the sealant anchor to the substrate thus preventing liquids and oils penetrating deep into the stone. The characteristics of the treatment causes spills to bead on the surface of the stone allowing for easy removal. Furthermore the barrier prevents liquids penetrating deep into the stone which can cause permanent staining.

Stone UK Guard can easily be applied to stone using a decorating roller or mop. Several coats are required to ensure that the stone is sufficiently sealed. Depending on the porosity of the stone will determine how much coverage is archived. Sealing is best achieved in dry conditions, once sealed spills will bead on the surface of the stone and can easily be removed with a damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed with Stoneuk Guard Multi Purpose Cleaner and degreaser.
